Corruption

Hodespocrisy-- It's Mr. Crowley

Congressman Joe Crowley (D-NY) is under investigation by the Congressional Office of Ethics regarding fundraisers with lobbyists before critical votes on financial legislation.  Crowley's investigation is focused on his departure from an amendment debate to attend a fundraiser held by Banking lobbyist Julie Domenick, after which he returned to vote against amendments that would toughen certain standards on the financial industry.

John Lynch Gets What's Been Coming

Blogging can be a weird hobby.  You never know when something you've planted will grow and bear fruit.  But back on May 28th of 2010 I planted this seed. It was about Mr. Lynch going to the Political OutGiving conference.

Democrat Civil War - Voter Fraud

This documentary is about the disenfranchising of American citizens by the Democratic Party and the Obama Campaign. We the People have made this film. Democrats have sent in their stories from all parts of America. We want to be heard and let the country know how our party has sanctioned the actions of what we feel are Obama Campaign "Chicago Machine" dirty politics.

Comrade Carol Seiu-Porter

People Helping Illinois Lead is a PAC that donated to Carol Seiu-Porter.  The PAC is run by Illinois congressman Phil Hare.

Look For The Union Label

Look For The Union LabelUnions are historically more corrupt than the business community.  Yet when a corporation donates money in a manner some left wing fringe group finds unacceptable, we are treated to flash mobs and media hype.

Local Culture...of Corruption?

Yogurt culture or culture of corruption? It’s not what you know it’s who you know.  And Gary Hirschberg, CEO of Stonyfield Yogurt, knows democrats.  So maybe that’s why Stonyfield Yogurt has received a $100,000.00 dollar job training grant from the state for 678 Stonyfield employees, complete with a visit from governor Lynch?  And while Hirschberg says Stonyfield is matching the grant “with another 100K, perhaps we should ask this question first.

Hodespocrisy-The Tale Of Dirty Dick

Dick Durbin, or Dirty Dick as we like to call him around the shop, is a prominent Senator from Illinois and another $10,000.00 donor to Paul Hodes.  Durbin has all the standard conflicts with the "New and Improved Hodes--With extra Hypocritical Action!, and coming in at 685 million in earmark requests since fiscal year 2008 (117 million in 2010), dirty Dick should fit nicely into Paul's stated mission to end earmark abuse in congress.

Hodespocrisy--The Menendez Chronicles

Being as concerned as they are about ethics and corruption (over at the offices of the New Hampshire Democrat Party) you’d think Paul 'Jersey' Hodes would have refused that $10,000.00 campaign contribution from Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ).  Menendez is a long time benefactor of corrupt SEC violator Goldman Sachs (see below) and being from Jersey's most corrupt Hudson county Menendez has been linked to any number of ethical "misunderstandings" throu

Blame Congress

As we consider the economic and political situation some folks are clinging to the 'Blame Bush' rhetoric while others are focusing on blaming Obama.  While there is blame aplenty in varying amounts, the one consistent factor they share is the one we have the best opportunity to resove in November.

They Both shared a democrat majority legislature lead by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Given that we have three branches of government, and no president can do much of anything without their approval--though that has shifted as congress allows the executive to accumulate billion dollar slush funds and shadow cabinets--the legislature is easily the most responsible party for the current state of our nation.

You Want Us To Take This Seriously?

Yeah? When pigs fly!Cynicism is the proper lens through which all political activity should be viewed--particularly by incumbents---so pardon my skepticism but this latest legislative effort by Paul Hodes strikes me as a bit hollow.

CONCORD — Members of Congress and federal regulators would be barred from working as lobbyists for a minimum of two years under a bill that U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes said yesterday he is sponsoring.

Hodespocrisy--"It's Not A Schoomah"

It's Not A Toomah! In keeping with the holier than thou New Hampshire Democrat Party “rules” committee’s abhorrence of money from 'corrupt' sources, we bring you Chuck Schumer, New York Senator, Chairman of the Senate Rules Committee, and committee member on Banking, Finance, and judiciary.  He has also stained Paul Hodes already questionable reputation with dirty money--$10,000.00 dollars worth of it.

Hodespocrisy--The Max Baucus Edition

Money money money money...Max Baucus, Democrat Senator from Montana, is the chairman of the Senate Finance committee and his Glacier PAC has donated $10,000.00 dollars to Paul Hodes for Senate.  Baucus may be best known for his influence on Health Care reform or Climate change legislation.  But what he should be known for is his relationship with lawyer/staffer Melo

NHDP Cries Hypocrite

The New Hampshire democrat party--in a typical game of misdirection--is all lathered up about some tenuous connections between Senator Gregg--leaving the Senate, John Sununu--no longer in the Senate, and Kelly Ayotte--not even in the Senate, accepting contributions from two billionaires from Texas who have been charged with securities fraud. The operative word is "charged" not convicted, but the NHDP is already calling them 'Hypocrites.' They are hypocrites for compaining about Hodes and his Rangel cash, while the GOPers apparently have taken "thousands of dollars" of their own.

Hodes Monkeys With The First Amendment

Right to What?Reading Paul Hodes blog at the daily KoS is the literary-equivalent of watching monkeys throw poo.

A Problem For Oily Populists

Hope you got your permit to do that?Paul Hodes is scalp hunting BP over the Gulf Oil spill—even though BP ponied up 20 Billion already and has spent plenty trying to fix things besides.  Fine and dandy “but how do I use that for populist traction” cries Sugar Daddy Hodes.  “I need votes.”  His answer is another press release promising something or other—it doesn’t really matter with Hodes.  Anyway, what he should be doing, if in
