Life Off the Road

ARLINGTON, VA – As I type from my basement apartment over 800 miles separate me from Adam (in WI) and 2,600 miles stand between me and Jason (in CA). Despite our geographical separation and the conclusion of the on-the-road portion of MHD we’re not done yet! We’ve each had more time to become involved in other projects (some on our own and some collaborative) but we’ll continue to post fresh content here each Monday.

Thank You Thursday Forthcoming!

SAN JOSE, CA – As you may have noticed, we didn’t get a Thank You Thursday up a couple of days ago and didn’t get any content up yesterday. We apologize! We’ve been running around quite a bit here in the Bay Area – doing a lot of interviews, packing and figuring out our post-MHD logistics (as our last meetup for ‘Searching for Freedom in America’ was last night) and preparing for our speaking gigs up the State Policy Network conference (to which we’re flying).

Help MHD Make a Full-Length Documentary!

SEATTLE, WA – It’s said that all good things come to an end. I’m not sure I necessarily agree with that for all things but it is the case for Motorhome Diaries: The Search for Freedom in America. While an upcoming post(s) will share with you each of our future plans the purpose of this post is to solicit interest from those of you that have the skills and interest to help turn our raw footage into a polished, full-length documentary.

Idaho in Less Than 24hrs

SPOKANE, WA  – We got into Idaho on Friday evening, did a bit of work from a Starbucks then started looking for a place to park MARV for the night. It was a cold night so after driving a bit we just decided to pony up the dough and get a motel room (a first for MHD). At just over 50 bucks we found the Motel 6 (where the above pic was taken) the best deal in town and enjoyed warm beds, hot showers and heat.
