Health Care

A bill requiring all sales of $600 or more be tracked with a 1099 bill was rolled into the Health Care Bill, millions of stimulus dollars used to make signs touting the Obama stimulus, moonshine regaining popularity in the US, and an old man looking for better health gets a can of health pet senior from his local food bank.

Carol-(S)Care

Independent voices might have some expectation of doing independent things.  Things like reading legislation or accessing resources outside the ones the people desperately selling a bill want you to stick to.  That kind of open mindedness would go a long way to demonstrating integrity and responsibility.  Or you could be Carol Shea Porter.

Carol sold Health Care reform as instructed.  She shifted gears as instructed, spun when asked, and followed the talking points all the way to the bitter end like a clumsy dancer following on the fly choreography.

But now that the reality of what she has done is upon us, it sure would have been nice to have an independent voice instead Carol Shea-Porter.

Money For Nothing

This is well worth the time.  It's smart, and funny.  And you get to see Biden on the drums.  Although Reid and Pelosi on Guitar is kind of cool.  It's Dire Straits 'Money For Nothing' with a twist.

"They push the Healthcare on the N-B-C."

Piss Be Upon Him

I assume Israel bashing and pissing on Jesus are still democrat approved artistic pursuits--for which I deserve a taxpayer funded government grant.  But will Pelosi also cover my health insurance costs?  What if I don't want to be tied t

Happy Shea-Porter

Carol must be pleased.  She used parliamentary magic to help pass (ram) her leaderships notion of insurance reform (That's Health Care to Obamacrats) on a raft of promises she was told to read off dog-eared 3 x 5 index cards.  But since passage of the trillion dollar take over, little if anything has turned out to be as she was instructed it would be.

Carol is as unpopular or more so after passage.  The only 'Bump' was the one Pelosi gave her when she brained her with a sap.

Yes We Can

This commentary by NH Senator Jeb Bradley (R) District 3 sums up the dire situation which NH and US citizens are facing…

Liberals like to complain about how Republicans are scare mongers.  Case in point: claims that ObamaCare gives sexual performance enhancement drugs to rapists, child molesters and all sex offenders.  Why slow the train down for that?  They are just being obstructionist.  It's not what they say it is.  Turns out it is true.

Republicans tried to stop it with an amendment in the Seante. Democrats killed it.

From Roll Call .

Slope And Change. (Or Christmas In November)

Who said passing health care reform would be good for democrats?  Same people that said passing it would be good for America.  They were wrong on both accounts.  Here's the most recent polling data from Rasmussen.  The average shift from February to March is 7.5 points away from Democrats and in favor of Republicans.  Not because Republicans are that great, but because the liberals are destroying the democrat party.  So Christmas is coming in November this year.

No Lessons Learned

Representative Shea-Porter, when given a simple solution invariably chooses the more complex one because it does a better job of hiding the true costs and intentions of any given legislative endeavor.  Insurance reform is the fine example, but a more obvious choice is Cap and Trade.  A basic sin-tax on carbon, like those on tobacco, would accomplish the goal.  It is simple.  It could be written and passed in a day.  It generates direct revenue and begins to reduce consumption (and emissions) almost immediately.  Further, a carbon tax could be tweaked or graduated to achieve or maintain the desired result, assuming the real goal was to modify behavior away from a perceived ill for some stated goal.

Carol Shea-Porter's Ignorance & Arrogance Tour

Ms. Carol, central-planning-government-first-teabgger-we-dont-need-to-vote-on-that-to-deem-it-passed-Shea-Porter (D-Utopia) is doing town halls over the Easter recess in which (I suspect) she will try explaining how good insurance reform will be for us.  If she gets the chance.  Most of the people who will come out to meet her, other than the assigned Liberal Pride groupies, union hacks, and women’s studies laureates, know more about the legislation than she.  And with any luck, a few of them will honor the Shea-Porter of old and get uppity and verbally disruptive so we can all write more blogs calling her a hypocrite when she gets them thrown out.

The State Senate Speaks on Sovereignty

The New Hampshire State Senate decided that sovereignty and your constitutional rights were less of a consideration than the angry Liberal Pride movements obsession with party before the people.  The Liberty Deniers on a strict party-line vote killed the Bradley Amendment to SB 505-FN-A.  The amendment would have prevented New Hampshire residents from having to buy health insurance under the federal mandates in ObamaCare.

The Bradley Amendment

Not wasting any time, State Senator Jeb Bradley has already released an amendment for SB 505 to protect the people of New Hampshire from the overreach of the federal government on the matter of Health Insurance.

Without further delay...

-start-

Floor Amendment to SB 505-FN-A

Amend the title of the bill by replacing it with the following:

Three Steps To Freedom

Now that the democrat congressional majority has finally found a way to convince members of their own party to vote for the Leaderships agenda, you may be wondering what to do next.  Fair question. It seems obvious that the federal system could take years to repeal this nightmare, and there is no guarantee they ever will cut it all out.  But we still live in a Federal Republic, so you do not have to wait years and years.  You do not have to get mad.  You do not have to lose sleep.  You can begin to free yourself of all of it as early as this November if you follow this very simple three step process

Victory!

The liberals have managed to buy off enough people to pass insurance reform.  This is a great day.  And it will be remembered, but not the way they think.  Let me quoteRepresentative Hodes from 2007.

Today on the floor of the House, partisan members of Congress chose loyalty to the President over loyalty to the people. And that, although not surprising, is a tragedy."

Ain't that the truth.
