Sandy Winter for Exeter Board of Selectman!!
Many people do not realize that in Exeter, there is an organized and planned movement of a group of progressive socialists to, not only keep their political power on the Board of Selectman and away from the voters because they know better than the voters, but to also spread their philosophy around on the various boards that they recruit so they can control the town. It is time to make the changes now before too much damage can be done to the town. We can't let Exeter slip into the mess (any further), than what is going on in D.C. or Concord.
This elitist attitude is becoming more and more visible and pronounced. A prime example of this is if the selectmen candidates are willing to listen to the voters and follow what the voters want done, or in typical elitist progressive fashion once elected, to tell the voters what "they" want to do. It is the old mind over matter principle, "I don't mind and you don't matter." It has come out into the open when Julie Gilman and Don Clement both said they would hire more people for the Finance Department, when the voters in Exeter made it clear at the deliberative session they didn't want this to happen. So let's scratch those two off the list for candidates. That leaves us with Brian, Anne and Sandy. All three are no nonsense straight forward individuals, I know, like and respect all three; each has the ability to do a good job, listen to the people who elected them and will work hard to clean up the management of Exeter.
My personal choice is Sandy Winter for a number of reasons. Sandy is a small business man who has worked hard to get to where he is in life. I also committed to him before the other candidates got into the race because of my personal knowledge and experience with him. He is not pretentious, elitist or prone to play follow the leader with the town manager as is the leader.
Sandy is a leader. If you had not noticed Sandy is not a fashion plate, spit and polish, or a great orator; his answers at the candidate forums were short, from the heart and to the point. I want a straight-forward answer, factual and telling me the way it is. If there is a problem, I want to know how we are going to fix it by someone who is not afraid to jump into the hole and help dig. Sandy will bring his life and small business experience to the leadership of Exeter.
I think Sandy would do a great job as a selectman that is why I am supporting him.
