Open Letter re: H1N1 Vaccine

There is an outrageous shortage of H1N1 vaccines available in my community and across this country. I find this absolutely unacceptable. Why are there less than handful of vaccine suppliers? Why does the government have these unreasonable and restrictive regulations that allows this situation to even occur. The Fed Govt needs to de-regulate and allow more suppliers to produce this and other much needed vaccines. My 5yr old son did NOT receive the H1N1 vaccine at his Pediatrics vaccine clinic today, because they received only 50 doses instead 200. At the Pediatrics clinic we waited over an hour in line to get this rationed product, this reminds me of waiting in line for hours in my home country, communist Czechoslovakia, to get rations as well. This is insane! Free market is the solution, not more government.
