ANOTHER Feature Length Free State Project Documentary!
This was just posted over on the FSP Forum:
Hello everyone,
My name is Christina Heller. As many of you may recall, last fall my partner Craig and I produced "rent FREE," the short documentary highlighting Alec Muller and his involvement with the FSP. It aired on Current TV and was also featured on the FSP website.

As you all know, the story of (and stories behind) this movement are both compelling and mostly ignored by the press. Based on these facts we have decided to produce a feature length documentary on the Free State Project.
The documentary will be filmed throughout this summer and fall, and edited through the winter with a completion date in the spring of 2009. It will run roughly 60-90 minutes, and be submitted to regional and national film festivals.
So here is our humble request of you: If YOU or SOMEONE YOU KNOW is planning to MOVE in the near future, please contact us ASAP. We want to document a Free Stater's trek to New Hampshire. We believe watching the pilgrimage will be a cornerstone of the piece.
We are also looking to profile 4 or 5 members of FSP with compelling personal stories. For example, maybe your journey to New Hampshire has a strong narrative quality (where you're from, where FSP has taken you, where you are headed). Or perhaps the experience as a whole has taken taken your life on unexpected twists that have altered it in interesting ways, or has otherwise created unconventional circumstances. Ideally, we need individuals whose stories are so unconventional, so amazing, or so interesting that they would engage someone totally unfamiliar to the FSP and the precepts of the related political philosophy (no pressure, of course!).
We are hoping to pre-interview people within the next few weeks and during PorcFest. We are also looking for fun, unusual or dynamic dimensions that add to the story... aspects of the group here that one might not notice at first glance, or cultural components (meeting at Murphy's Taproom on Tuesdays, Ice Cream Socials on Sundays... things like that) that help define this unique social and political camaraderie.
If you're interested in participating, have any information, comments, or questions please DO NOT HESITATE to send me an email at:

or call at:

Otherwise, see you at PorcFest!
Thank you,
Christina
